CA=Corrective Action



DT-1 Ping test Camera IP Address

  • If camera Ping Test Pass - perform CA-1
  • If camera Ping Test Fails - perform CA-2

 

Note: Camera IP Address may be obtained from the Site VMS farm, right-click on the Camera and select view on the web, the browser will render and display the IP address

 

CA-1

  • Open the VMS client
  • Login using the Admin Account
  • Right-click specific camera
  • Click reconnect to the camera.

 

CA-2

  • Wait for 24 hours before
  • If the camera went up =  reply and update the status of the ticket as resolve.
  • If the camera is still down = relay the matter to technical personnel onsite
